Did you know that in Canada they sometimes use the word, 'proposal' instead of, 'referral'?
Doesn't that sound nicer?
We propose that these are the children who should be entrusted to you.
Referral, like the picture, could just be for a plumber who doesn't overcharge, or a dentist that doesn't give you a hard time when you refuse an x-ray.
Proposal.
If you don't mind, I think I will use 'proposal' when the time comes.
Oh my goodness... that is hilarious.
ReplyDeleteHe he, Julie that's funny! You should have opened it to see if mine was in there along with yours stuffed somewhere perhaps in the back of the package.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...proposal...it does sound nice.
Cindy
Love it... let's get ready for that barrage of proposals that are surely coming soon!? I keep reminding myself that it IS going to happen...
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of proposals...where are they??? I think I am going crazy
ReplyDeleteOh, I like that a LOT!
ReplyDeleteWow!! I wish you had opened it maybe there were a bunch referrals, I mean proposals in there.
ReplyDeleteoh I LOVE "proposal" instead of "referral"!! wish I had known that - it's much much better.
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of it too. "Child Proposal" - my social worker uses that term all the time.
ReplyDeleteOh my god-- it's a 25-pack! You totally should have bought it.
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious!!! I will be very excited when you get your proposal!!
ReplyDeleteI like the word proposal...in our program they say "presented"
ReplyDeleteI hope your wait isn't much longer.

I agree...pretty funny. To bad it is not really just that easy. If only the proposal was in the package. :) Soon enough though.
ReplyDeleteits probably very insensitive of me but i giggled lots while reading this....
ReplyDeleteProposal is so much better! And you will love the proposed kids so much you should marry them. I can't wait to propose a toast to your proposal.
