My Mom...

has come to visit me.

Hopefully there will not be another earthquake this week, and we won't need the hard hats.

She thought I might be lonely.

    It was great to meet you this weekend! And, give your mom a big hug from me to keeping you company. Moms are the best!

    I hope your mom has a great visit. So sweet. Lonely? What about all these new real live friends from the blog union commenting all over the place?! I'M SO JEALOUS! Okay, so maybe they don't make up for missing your husband - but I'm still jealous of the whole BU thing.

    I came home from CA and went straight to your blog and read it from beginning to end. In answer to your question.... yes I would absolutely place a child in your home.

    This is going to sound really really wierd but I just dont know how else to say it....

    Growing up you are exactly the kind of person I wished was my mom.

    I really am so glad I met you.

    I just had to tell you that. As "wierd" as that may be.
