Future. Love. Paradise.
Mimi.
I had the privilege of spending the last two days with Mimi. It is impossible to describe Mimi in one blog post. Luckily, she has her own blog, and occasionally her mom puts up a video or two.
I heart Mimi. She is all personality. She needs her own show.
She helped me in the garden...
Can't this Dino go any faster?
We had long, leisurely lunches...
and spent lots of time with her favorite horse...
She asked Moses to clean her stroller...
And she stole a binky...
There is no one like Mimi. She has an infectious spirit, and a tender little heart. Throughout the day, in between ninety minute dance parties (I napped when she napped), she would unexpectedly stroke my hair, or plant a tiny kiss on my cheek. She is so full of love and joy that it is virtually impossible to feel sad when she is around.
I showed her the 8x10 pics we printed up of M&m. She said their names so beautifully, in her sweet little voice.
I can't wait for them to meet her.

Mimi sure is a charmer. LOVE the first picture of her. Lucky you to spend so much time with her and lucky M&m to be able to have her as their friend.
ReplyDeleteOh Julie! Thank you. What a beautiful post... Mimi sure does love her Aunt Julie, that's for sure! ( and we know how she feels about Uncle Steven too!) She has so much fun with you, it warms my heart. Los Angeles is a BIG city, but I feel like I have family just down the street now. We heart you guys! And we are all so excited for the day that LIttle Miss M meets M & m!! So much joy.

ReplyDeleteJulie, thank you for your kind comment. We got some information-not much-but something I can start wrapping my mind around. I finally feel like she will come home to us, again. I am sure that once we get her home...all this will slip away, just like the wait before referral. I love watching you celebrate your children. You will make an amazing mom.
