I know, I know.
It isn't a great idea...a countdown. We need to temper our excitement.
But still.
This June is not at all like last June. Let's just say we are filling our happiness stores for when the inevitable disappointments of life come back.
So, bear with me.
For the next twelve days I will remain effusively, cautiously, optimistic.

[loud announcer voice] 12!
ReplyDeletemmm...optimism is a gift that creates so much life bliss...no apologies need...we will happily ride the optimistic bliss train with you!! love that you and Courtney both had crayon themes today!
ReplyDeletepeople always told me to temper my enthusiasm and anticipation - if you don't have high expectations, you can't be disappointed. but i never could. i say - go for it! be honest in the moment about your emotions, because it's just as important to feel the anticipation as to feel the result. and it may just happen as planned. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am optimistic for you, too!!
ReplyDeleteIn typical dork fashion, I just had to label search 'court' so I could see them all together in anticipation of '1.' Oh, eyes of my eyes, how I love your series...love, love, love, love, love your series...I will be requesting that these too make into the book, Would You Place to Countdown, to Family photos!
