Tortuga in Spring

Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.

For, lo! the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;

The flowers appear on the earth; The time of the singing of birds is come,

And the voice of the turtle is heard in our land.

  1. What a wonderful world. Rare and handsome tortuga.

  2. Oh what a happy happy spring. I have not forgotten last year. and this one is made even more lovely.

    our first flowers have come up too!
    through 12 inches of snow.
    where the snow has melted down to one inch the little alpine crocus' poke through.

  3. What an amazing picture of spring. Smelling the flowers with Dad. Such a great shot!

  4. spring is not in our land yet....
    your land and people look pretty cute!

  5. I just found your blog (via Habesha Child). I love your post-return posts and the honesty with which you're sharing the reality of it all. We've been home with our 3-yr old for 2 years now and are waiting for court next week to bring home baby #2.I'm scared silly the second time around. You did it at once, smart in some ways. Now I get to do the anxiety, craziness again. Your blog is a great reminder of it all and how it does work...whatever way that may be. Thanks.

  6. Spring is a heart changer. I hope yours is big and bountiful.
    Thanks for your blog.
