The hours after nap up until bedtime can be a bit challenging, especially if I don't plan something in advance. I noticed that Meazi just naturally goes for a book when she gets up. I am finding that the M&m Storytelling hour serves as a nice transition to our late afternoon activities.

I call the hourse between afternoon naps and bedtime the "witching hours." everything goes to crap as dinner must be made. I think 5pm is universally hiddeous with young children.

Her voice sounds so sweet! I had never heard her talk this much. And yes, just yesterday, all hell broke loose and the phone rang and rang and we served the kids dinner embarrassingly late!
