Peter's Chair

The hours after nap up until bedtime can be a bit challenging, especially if I don't plan something in advance. I noticed that Meazi just naturally goes for a book when she gets up. I am finding that the M&m Storytelling hour serves as a nice transition to our late afternoon activities.

Here is one of Meazi's favorites...

And a Meazi original...

Happy Friday.

  1. I call the hourse between afternoon naps and bedtime the "witching hours." everything goes to crap as dinner must be made. I think 5pm is universally hiddeous with young children.

Reading is a good way to combat this. Nice goes kiddies.

  2. Her voice sounds so sweet! I had never heard her talk this much. And yes, just yesterday, all hell broke loose and the phone rang and rang and we served the kids dinner embarrassingly late!

Too cute videos and too cute girl in her Ethiopia shirt :)

  6. I'm curious about how and why her name switched from Meaza to Meazi. You mentioned that you realized you were saying her name wrong when you met her. Is there a story to that? Thanks!
