Julie, your blog is so inspirational to me-- I love our sorta shared experience! Mintesinot just wore a shirt I sent him in his care package... it still fits him (size 2T-- come on kid, GROW!). I was bummed that the matching shorts went missing at the care center.
Similarly, I saved the onesies/tshirts the boys were wearing under their traditional clothes when we took them into our care permanently. I sent the shoes back for continued use by others, but the little underclothes I kept.
I saved special baby outfits for my kids, and turned them into christmas stockings. (I can't really sew, so I get help from crafty people I know) But it's a cool way to cannonize a special outfit, see it and love it once a year, instead of being in a box somewhere. His is really really sweet.
Such a little cutie, I absolutely loved the first moments spent going through our son's clothing that no longer fit him - fun little "remember when" moments.
Boy meets Girl. Girl moves in. Boy marries Girl. Boy and Girl try to start a family. Girl is pregnant. Girl is not pregnant. Repeat. Girl gets cancer. Boy and Girl keep trying. Nine Years later, they may be getting close. Only Time will Tell...
I remember the pictures of your first baby cloths shopping trip. Loved those pictures, love this one more!
ReplyDeleteForever, for sure! My heart can hardly contain the beauty of your chilldren. Smile.
ReplyDeleteScrumptuous boy!
