In a Classic Case of...

In a classic case of " Your blog post sounded so pathetic yesterday that the Universe decided to throw you a bone," we received M&m's birth certificates.

And, for the three people who didn't hear me shouting on Facebook, we travel August 13th (probably sooner if we can).

That is just over three weeks from now.

She will be home for her birthday.

He will still be a baby- a LARGE baby, but a baby nonetheless.

  15. Funny, I thought the same thing, but in a different way. I thought that Julie's desire to hold her children was heard and heard loud and clear! YAY! I so wish I could go with you. I would love to photograph the union of your family. I guess I will have to wait to photograph and witness it in the old USA.

  17. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a big believer in traveling sooner if you can. Although it was a financial strain for us to have me in-country for 1 month, I wouldn't change it for the world. I think Sam is so much more well adjusted because of it.
Now, if we could only get him on US time and to take naps!
    big hugs!

  25. Hi Julie,
this stage is really the hardest. You will have your babies home soon- but I know it feels like an eternity. I think of you and your family often. I can't wait until you are all together. Congratulations on receiving the birth certificates.

  27. Yay, yay, yay!! I was just reading your post from yesterday...or was it the day before? Anywho, it made me well up into tears. The longing. The seeing their faces and longing to hold them. Now, it will be your reality. And what a sweet reality it truly is.

  30. That's so, so, so, so great. A travel date! Wow. All I can say is Wow. Being a part of your journey has been such a gift.

I like this theory about your blog being depressing enough the universe throws you a bone... clearly, I'm not getting dark enough on mine. Gotta kick it up a notch if that's what's required!
