There is perhaps no on in this whole world who I have more faith in to raise good and loving and generous human beings. Your children (!) radiate light and goodness. The four (make that six!) of you are so very very lucky to have found one another.
Wow! I am sitting here in tears so apologies if my spelling is terrible through misty eyes. OMG!! They are so beautiful and your family is amazing. Congrats and enjoy the weekend as a family of 6! You totally deserve it my friend. Can't stop crying...too happy.
I'm so happy and relieved that it took just today to get this wonderful yes! You are one family, all of you together. Can't wait to hear everything as your life unfolds as a mom and a dad and a daughter and a son and a dog and a dog!
oh they are beautiful!! sweet and delicious! *sniff*..*sobb*...I am so happy for your guys..hearts so full to bursting. I swear this week is magic because families seem to be being united everywhere I turn...what a gift!! thank-you for sharing your journey with us...I'm feeling awfully blessed just to watch this love♥
Oh happy day! Congratulations! What adorable children, and after reading your blog for the past few months, what a sweet mother you are, and will continue to be. Love from Pennsylvania.
I can't find your phone number which is probably for the better since I more than likely would be overwhelming with the love and glee and joy and happiness I would be trying to spread over your direction via phone lines.
Does that make any sense??
Your lovely children are lovely. Breathtaking. Lovely.
I am so happy for you and yours. So very, very happy.
A toast: to this blessed family of four, to happy tears and overflowing hearts, to sippy cups and boo boos on knees, to goodnight kisses and toddler books from the library, to car seats and pediatricians, to endless love and frantic kisses while you change diapers, to childhood and parenting and LOVE!!!!! I can't wait for you to travel.
Oh, I am so glad I checked in one last time before leaving for vacation....
They are YOURS, in every possible way! What a wonderful day! FINALLY! I am so glad that this part of the process was fast and smooth for you, and can't wait for you to go to Ethiopia and come home as a family!
Such a truly lovely reflection of your journey with the song and photos and your children! Your daughter, she is so intensely beautiful. What an interesting and amazing spirit captured by a photo. I am so glad you are her mother. I just have this overwhelming feeling that the bond between the two of you will be so strong and profound. And then your son, your sweet lovely wonderful little. You just want to give him big kisses and tickles. I hope that this happens soon. It has happened. You are a lovely mother. They have lovely parents. You have two amazing children. You all belong to each other now. I want to watch it again now. I am so happy for you.
OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH. I am barely awake, ran down the stairs to check this, havne't even seen the video yet...just so so so so so so so so so so beyond...so beyond...waking up...when I fully wake up, I think I'm gonna scream.
watched it again and again ... this is what I want to say: Julieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!! It's so early on the West Coast ... so happy that you get the whole day to rejoice rather than to be waiting on pins and needles. I'm excited, beyond excited! I think that I will go out and celebrate for you tonight. Maybe we should all say cheers at the same time ... like cheers across America.
Cause I mean, you know what this means, right? You get to go to Addis? Have you thought of that yet? YOU ARE GOING TO BRING THEM HOME? To your house? And they're gonna sit in those chairs and eat honey sandwiches and everything? Have you thought of that yet? Cause I keep thinking about it, and man, oh man, is it getting to me.
Words that flooded my thoughts as I watched this montage and remembered your written words chronicling the long journey you have traveled to your children.
Oh.My.Gosh. Bawling my eyeballs out. They are a couple of the most beautiful little ones I've ever seen. And that song...wow, you guys are incredibly blessed. I'm so so happy for you. :) :)
Wow, tears are shedding. I am just sitting here with a grin and tears and I am soooooooo happy for your new family that's about to begin! I don't know you all personally, just an avid blog reader....but I hope to meet your beautiful family one day and see these precious sweet babies in real life. I wish you such an incredible day of love, joy, smiles, laughter, tears....and impending motherhood. Two little ones who don't have the concept of mommy yet, someone to stroke their hair every day, someone who brings them little snacks in funny shapes, someone who is always arms-open in bed when they have a bad dream or feel sick, someone who gently places a hand on their shoulder just because it's there, someone who every single night of the rest of their childhoods will have the time and place to say a long, luscious, loving goodnight and they will feel safe, and loved, and home. You are a mother. One of the most amazing roles in the world. You will forever imprint the vivacity I see captured in your pictures into your son and daughter....and the very special love you share with Steven will embolden them with so much confidence and strength. I can't believe I am just crying so much over your little ones about to come home.
I am so, so, so, happy for all of you. And once you meet Daniel & I, we'll immediately offer to babysit and you can add us to the long list of potential sitters and enjoyers of the company of your little ones.
I think my kids are starting to worry about my happy tears! Congratulations! What a wonderful way to start the holiday weekend. I'm sure the fireworks will have an entirely new meaning to you this year!!! All the best

Tonight, at dinner, my littlest sister said to me, "Okay, enough about Julie already." And my mom got really defensive and told my sister that today was a very happy special day. My mom loves your blog. My sister was doing mental eye rolls and trying so hard not to say "you don't even know her!" But we didn't care, my mom and I just kept talking about what a beautiful, happy turn your life is taking.
Big time celebrating with you! I just knew you were going to receive happy news today. It just HAD to be! I can't believe you're going to be on a plane soon to bring your kids home, and how privileged we feel to get to be a part of their new lives! Can't WAIT to meet them and welcome you home as a family. Now it's complete. Hooray, hooray, hooray! Walking on your cloud nine tonight!... XOXO
I should travel more often because I always come back to good news from blog friends. I am so happy for you, Julie! I love your kiddies! They are adorable. This slide show you did captures so much! So I won't see you in Ethiopia, but one day, I will give you and your little ones a hug in person. Until then, virtual hugs, Evelyn
Alright. You've got me wet-faced and smiling at the same time. Julie, Congratulations!! I cannot believe that you had a court date so fast and passed on the first try. Whooo Hooo!! The children are so so beautiful. These first weeks at home have not been easy for me (whiny, clingy, defiance, food), so please email if you want some support. Martha
Boy meets Girl. Girl moves in. Boy marries Girl. Boy and Girl try to start a family. Girl is pregnant. Girl is not pregnant. Repeat. Girl gets cancer. Boy and Girl keep trying. Nine Years later, they may be getting close. Only Time will Tell...
