Down, but not Out...

Sick! I have been sick since we last spoke. I think that was why I was so depressed, I was getting sick. Until I am better, here are some pics from my week. Highlights include an unexpected visit from my dad, and the second Valentine's Day Babysitting of Pip and Squeak. Enjoy.

  5. Thanks for your sweet fb comment. Things have got to be looking up in the E adoption world, in your world, in my world! I like the new "wordle" gadget you have on your blog. How do you find all these nifty things?

  6. Bummer! We've been sick here to and it sucks. And is that little picture in the corner your dad? That picture made me giggle for some reason. :)

    Feel better soon Julie!

  7. So glad you're back and hope you are feeling better. Those little girls look like they could make anybody feel better. Did your dad read your last post and jump on a plane? I wish I could have. Even if only to meet for lunch. Missed you.

  8. Oh good, glad you're back. Now the planets can go back to their regular orbits... and everything won't feel so off-kilter:-) Feel better soon!

  9. Yay! Julie's back! I'm so happy to see you on again... I was missing you!

I received your most beautiful, most precious, most incredible bead and card today.

Julie. You took my breath away. Not even one question about it. Just plain took it away. I am so grateful, so very grateful, to have you in my life.

I will cherish your words, your bead, for the rest of my days.

Wow. I can't even come up with words to write.

Except thank you, dear one, thank you. You're held close to my heart....

    Love,

    Courtney

  12. I think it's going to be Jules. I call my dad Jim...when I'm not calling him Elvis =)

Facebook pictures to follow (of Elvis that is).

  13. Funny you should mention the Jules thing, I was kind of thinking that. I call my dad Jim when I'm not calling him Elvis (see pics in Facebook).

Feel free to delete one if I've posted this twice (not sure if my previous comment isn't showing up because you moderate or if it's because I got excited about posting the Elvis pictures before I clicked "publish your comment.")

  15. Hope you feel better soon! Man, we should've sent our kids over there to hang with Pip and Squeak. We had no babysitting and therefore no romantic dinner on V'day.
