Happy almost Thanksgiving!
Lori, Joy, and Kerri tagged me. Here are ten things that I am grateful for...
1. The benevolent bee keeper...
2. The Ted...
(And yes those are THESE blankets).
3. Moses, flatulent but friendly...
4. Health Insurance...
5. My healthy family...
6. California...
7.Ginger Scones...
8. The Blogging community, Books, Barack, Binky (what Steven calls my laptop-'Julie do you want your Binky?'), and Big comfortable beds...
9. Mark...
10. Being a year closer to filling these...
with youngsters like these...
I have to say when I first saw this tag I thought, "I am grateful that no one in my family died this month." I realized that this snarky response is indeed an indication that I am still grieving the loss of my mother-in-law quite a bit. I would have completely fallen apart this summer had it not been for you, my friends in the internet. Thank you for reading, commenting, e-mailing, praying, and even visiting. I am so very, very grateful for you. Thank you.
I tag Cindy, Evelyn, Rebekah, Enat, and M.

Lori Hearts Julie. These gratitude lists are filling me with such joy. (and we just got the two Barack books--left one on the bedside table of my Republican-leaning sister who is here visiting).
ReplyDeleteAh, just reading your thankfulness list made me feel better. (Sinus headaches make me grumpy....) Eee, those wee elfin slippers are so adorable I could faint. I'm swooning!

Perfect timing for a tag - I will work on that today!
ReplyDeleteMatisse slept on Peanut's blanket also before we sent it. I think he is way more in tune to what is going on than people think possible. Again, I know he is brilliant.
The Barack books ARE AWESOME. My in-laws bought the series on tape and it is delightful to hear him read it and perform the voices.
Nice! I love reading lists like this. It makes me smile and realize how much we truly have to be grateful for. i hope those little shoes are filled soon :)
ReplyDeleteGreat list! There really is so much to be thankful for, if we only take the time to look...and I don't think it would have been snarky to say you are grateful no one died this month, in a way that is one of the most basic things we all should be grateful for.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! We are thankful for you too!!!
ReplyDeleteThis may be a duplicate... I tried another comment, but don't think it went through...
ReplyDeleteI loved reading the 10 things and am glad you tagged me. It will be good to reflect because there is so much I am Thankful for. Right now, we're at my moms with all the sibs and we are preparing for another birthday, Thanksgiving and then another birthday so it may take me a few days.
I know for sure I am thankful for you! You are so thoughful and fun... a great long distance friend on this journey of ours!
Good, good things to be thankful for!
