I know that I have posted this picture at least once before. Sorry.
Today my husband and his brother travel here to scatter the ashes of both of their parents.
I wanted to write more about this, but I find myself, well, a mess.
Please keep them in your thoughts.
Oh, Julie. What a difficult day for the family. Having lost one parent, I can't imagine the loneliness of losing the other. I'm glad your husband and his brother have each other (and you) to lean on through this.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry they have to do that. I am thinking of you guys right now. I am thinking of Steven and his brother. I can only imagine how your heart must feel heavy for what they're doing.
ReplyDeleteSaying a prayer for you guys....
Big hug,
Cindy
I have no words of comfort. What a beautiful place to be. I'm keeping your family in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this. It helped me keep things in perspective.
Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. Sending big hugs to all of you on this difficult day.
ReplyDeleteThat's so weird that you have "Photograph" by NM on your player...I love that song...and recently sent it to Rebecca H. :)

ReplyDeleteI will keep all of you in my thoughts, thoughful friend.
ReplyDeleteI've been coming back to this picture on and off all day. It strikes me that either Steven's mom or dad took it, maybe? The significance of it, well, I almost can't get my head around it, yet somehow it's moved more and more into my heart all day.
ReplyDeleteBig big hugs to make it through the day and beyond.
You are all in my thoughts today.
ReplyDeletehey you... had a great time talking to you today...hope I was a semi-fun distraction from the hardness of this day for you. Will keep ya'll in my thoughts--xoox-kat
