Wow. I just stumbled upon your blog and have been deeply encouraged. Your children are beautiful, as is your story. We just adopted our son Mekonen and came home August 30th from Ethiopia. He is now 14 months. You mentioned a video lifebook? How did you do that? What does it entail? I was just thinking about how I am going to do Mekonen's book. I'd love to hear what you did/how you did it. my blog is www.theorens.blogspot.com and my email is rachaeloren@alumni.cedarville.edu
I just read your six month post and it was truly beautiful. For me it took until the 1.5 mark to settle into our new normal, to really get and process parenthood and becoming a family. Thank you for sharing so honestly-lovely post and amazing children.
Boy meets Girl. Girl moves in. Boy marries Girl. Boy and Girl try to start a family. Girl is pregnant. Girl is not pregnant. Repeat. Girl gets cancer. Boy and Girl keep trying. Nine Years later, they may be getting close. Only Time will Tell...
you look exhausted!
ReplyDeleteThe wide eyed look on Melese's face, the sweet look on Meazi's face, and the sweet and exhausted look on your face...all priceless!
ReplyDeletethe look on Melese's face is hilarious. "gimme that food dammit!" or "why is this jar pressed up against my face?"

ReplyDeleteIf airlines new what was good for them they'd include 1,000 pages of stickers with every child's ticket. It's amazing how entertaining they can be!
ReplyDeleteSo much going on in that photo! I love it!
