  48. Welcome home! You have absolutely GEORGEOUS children!
Now the reality of the last few weeks hits. HANG ON! It gets easier- I promise. Jet lag will pass and it WILL get easier. Just remember to be patient with one another and breathe A LOT!
Sesame Street, Baby Einstein sign language, video baby monitors.... use things you didn't want to use, didn't think you'd use, or swore you'd never use! It's for a short time and only for now.
Sorry, I'm writing a book, I am just remembering being there and the exhaustion!
All the congrats in the world to you and your precious family,
    Beth

  49. HAHAHAHA - you all made it in the same clothing. I lost my shirt, undershirt, ergo, and Sprout's pants in Dubai. The women's restroom, Dubai airport, will never recover. Neither will I. :)

    Welcome home!!!!

  50. So how open are your eyes these days??

    ReplyDelete
  51. Of course you don't need to use TV or baby monitors! Just pile everyone into bed and snuggle close. Sleep when they sleep. Let housework pile up around you. Use fluff n fold. Order in or let your community know that you need meals delivered. Hold hold hold those babies!

This is a crucial time in terms of attachment. Yes you are exhausted. But happy exhausted is so much easier than waiting exhausted. This too shall pass.
