Today

Are you?

This may be particularly difficult if we do what we did last year on this day.

Better bring our Toms just in case.

  1. UMMM. New York City barefoot. I am not today. Not brave enough I suppose and I would probably be fired.

But...I am buying a pair of Tom's today! I'm excited.

Thanks for posting this! I think it is big, big, big.

  2. TOMS picked a great date for this, don't you think? :)

I'm walking around the office with no shoes today and it feels good.

  3. The babe and I are barefoot today and I'm lovin' it on a beautiful WI day. Each of us is one tasty drop of change in the bucket...thanks for inspiring me!

  4. Very nice idea, Toms. Happy Birthday, girl!! I wish I would have known about the barefoot day. So far I could have pulled it off. The pope ain't got nothin' on you, girl. Between the hike, the husband, the dogs, and the non-celibacy, you are miles ahead.

  6. I am SO glad that you linked to last year's post because I laughed SOOOOO hard! And, after sitting here at my desk and working for...hold on, let me calculate...5hours and 23 minutes...I needed a good laugh. Happy Birthday to you, to one freaking amazing gal!

  7. I just read your post from last year - hilarious!!
Micah and I were running errands with no shoes this morning. I did put on flip flops so they'd let me into Target though. :(

    And, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

  8. Happy Birthday Julie!! Hope you have a great day and that this year brings you much happiness (I sound like a hallmark card:-) and nope not barefoot during work but will be later (hospitals and bare feet don't go well...I'd get kicked out!!)

  13. Sadly, I think barefoot today at CIS whilst fielding a greencard interview in Houston might have hindered the applicant's chances.

    Happy Birthday, Friend.
