For all of you with 'romantic, superstitious, wishful, optimistic, interconnectedness kind of thinking' one of my bracelets popped off...
It could have just been from eating too much pizza, but it sprung off on Saturday night (4/4/09) while we were dining with our future children's playmate, and her super kind parents.
(And yes, I realize that my eyebrow needs its own zip code- Note to self, must pay more attention to personal grooming).

Deb is the person who told me about your blog and I met her at a party in NY. I look forward to the day when I can meet Gabrielle in person. Because I need fashion tips. Isn't it strange the way the world works?
ReplyDeleteAs for the bracelet, I want that to be a sign, so much.

Ooooo..... this makes my day. I start off with an email with a photo of a dear friend's son in Korea, and end with this.
ReplyDeleteOh wait.. question - did you put it back on? What did YOU think? (wwjulied) (i do that with my post catholic friend jane all the time - wwjd)
ReplyDeleteI'm all about signs these days. I'm sure that is a good one! :) I have been having referral dreams, been unusually productive and yesterday, an Ethiopian man and an Ethiopian woman each won our local 10K which has been won be Kenyans since 1991. It's coming, Julie .....

YAY...this gives me a feeling that something is RIGHT around the corner!!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a good sign!!! I am feeling very superstitious right now!!
ReplyDeletePlease, please, PLEASE let THIS be your week. I broke off ten bracelets for you this afternoon. I know it might not be the same, what with my actually breaking them off and all, but it's the thought that counts... right?
ReplyDeletexoxo
It's gotta be! You crack me up.
ReplyDeleteEither way it's exciting. If nothing else it's a sign that it's one day closer, right? :) And I envy your eyebrows. Have you seen mine? I have 5 of them and they're all spread apart. Thinking of you...
ReplyDeleteI will not be at all surprised if your proposal paperwork shows you that your future children came into care today.
ReplyDeleteI think that's a sign! You look really pretty in this picture by the way. :)
ReplyDeletewithout a doubt -- its got to be an omen.... i'm going with that anyway. ;-)

ReplyDeleteas an interconnectedness kind of believer, yes Yes YES it is a sign! (-Themia)
ReplyDeleteAre there people who do not believe in signs?
ReplyDeleteOf course this is a sign. I love when the signs come AND we recognize them. So often I realize only long after that I've been seeing signs all along the way.
Thanks for sharing yours.
And I remember reading the original post about Gabby's birthday and liked it so much - I'm happy I got to go back and read it again. A nice way to start my week.
I'm so happy you are feeling hopeful. Signs, they are everywhere. Save the date, it will be sure to mean something.
ReplyDeleteumm...I think your eyebrows are mighty fine!
ReplyDeleteI had to hunt back through your blog for your other post about your bracelets.
ReplyDeleteYou said, "See, romantic, superstitious, wishful, optimistic, interconnectedness kind of thinking. I have it. I want to believe."

ReplyDeleteOh, yes...a sign it is! I just love looking at your photos...knowing that you have your garden and those little chairs...all of it waiting for your children. And the eyebrows---Frida Kahlo problably channeled her talent through hers....they are lovely and make emotions more splashy on your face.
