Sorry. I didn't really forget. Just been busy.
Did anyone else feel discouraged when Google Reader went away? Instead of helping readers find another way to follow this blog, I got depressed about losing all of the great friends I've made here over the past few years. It was kind of like, "Well, everyone's leaving anyway, so why write anything." Pathetic, I realize.
I added a button for something called Bloglovin' on the right sidebar. Does anyone use this? Ugh, I don't really like anything that ends in lovin'. I need the 'g'. It is almost like someone using 'Olde Shoppe' or 'Koffee Korner'.
Maybe it is great. Maybe I will see all of my readers come back and enjoy some bloglovin'. It sounds obscene. Perhaps I don't know what I'm missing.
And thanks to the nice reader who e-mailed me and asked if I had died. No, thanks for checking. My blog was just sick.

My google reader still works. But I'm happy you are back
ReplyDeleteI never used google reader, but have you bookmarked :). Welcome back
ReplyDeleteMy google reader still works too, that's how I knew you were back :)
ReplyDeleteNever got the hang of Google Reader but have loved Bloglovin' for years. Good to see you back.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for some bloglovin:)
ReplyDeletebookmarked! to embarrassed to disclose my inability to even prioritize google reader! Imagine all the wonderful and profound skills I have filled my brain with instead... or not. You are missed.
ReplyDeleteI exported my google reader subscriptions and imported them into theoldreader.com. It got off to a bit of a rocky start but things are pretty solid now.
ReplyDeleteI used google reader and it no longer works. I imported all my subscriptions to feedly.com. It works well and has better features than google reader.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back! I have no idea how some people's Google Reader still works, because mine sure doesn't! I switched to Feedly (imported everything from GR) and once I got used to it, I think I actually like it even better.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're back! I have no idea how other people are still using Google Reader - I cannot access mine anymore! I imported everything to Feedly and, after an initial adjustment period, I think I actually like it better than GR.
ReplyDeleteI hate that GR went away. I've got feedly but meh, I do'nt really like it. And i obviously can't use it, because I never saw this post when you wrote it! Which makes me all kinds of sad :(
ReplyDeleteI have always followed you on Bloglovin. It works great for me.
