For your enjoyment, I turn it over to Meazi today. I just picked her up from school. I looked at her in my rear view mirror as she said dreamily, "The clouds are moving really fast today. When I get home I'm going to write a poem."
Clouds
I jump through the sky
My feet sparkling
I love the sky
I land
I stay
I fall
Into
A
Deep sleep
Think I should just hand the whole blog over.
Excellent poem and I also wanted to say that her picture is the most stunning picture I have ever seen! What a beauty!!!

Beautiful. vibrant.
ReplyDeleteRe writing: Life takes over. It has a way of doing that. Yet, don't pretend you have nothing to say. You do. And you say it well. Your voice has meaning. It moves. Some of my favorite blogs are those that only speak up, when the time has come. Here and there. Especially since, well, life has taken over lots of my former reading time as well.
Love the poem, the gorgeous photo of Meazi, and her drawing. I vote for a team effort on the blog in the future.
ReplyDeleteWow! The expression "like mother, like daughter" certainly comes to mind! Beautiful!
ReplyDeletechanting "team writers team writers!" she's amazing.
ReplyDeleteI teach high school English, and that's better than most of the poetry they write. (Don't tell them I said that....) She's gorgeous in every way!
