Apropos Amharic Christmas: I baked injeera. It was pretty awful. The first batch smelled like feet, but tasted ok. The second batch smelled ok but tasted - exactly! like feet. After that I got tired, left the last batch in the blender and crawled away into bed. Next morning it had fermented, all by iteself! That batch was perfect. I have a few 'sheets' left and play with them. Eeeeeh, they feel so cool! Ethiopian tortilla.
